Where Did Your Customers Go?

by admin on November 27, 2008

It is much easier and more cost effective to grow your business through referrals and your existing client base than it is to go out and try to get new ones.

Each month someone doesn’t hear from you, they lose 10% of their recollection of you. If you do not communicate with your clients and prospects for a full year well, guess what?

They eventually forget who you are. Don’t let this happen to you.

Where Did They Go?

Do you know why your customers stop doing business with you?

1. 1% die
2. 3% move away
3. 5% seek alternatives or develop other relationships
4. 14% are dissatisfied with the product or service
5. AND a whopping 68% state “perceived indifference.” In other
words, they feel that they are not appreciated or not needed.

In addition, all businesses suffer regular and unexpected slow periods. The causes of these worrying times are many and varied:

•    Seasonal
•    Due to adverse economic conditions nationally
•    Caused by adverse economic conditions locally
•    A consequence of a change in parking regulations, or traffic flow measures
•    As a result of bad publicity either about a specific business, or business sector
•    Due to a new competitor
•    Caused by complimentary businesses relocating.
•    For no particular reason

Direct Email marketing allows any business to reach out to their customers when business is slow
